WEST COAST

WHAT IS THIS ?
West Coast is a photographic project dedicated to the French coastline, a constantly shifting territory shaped by wind, tides, and light. Often perceived as nothing more than a place of passage, the seashore is in fact home to a discreet, fragile, and resilient wildlife. This project aims to reveal this often unseen biodiversity and to highlight the fleeting beauty of these landscapes suspended between land and sea.
For Charlie, the coastline is a world of its own, both vast and intimate, where each tide reshapes the scenery. Through his images, he captures fleeting moments a Kentish plover along the strandline, a gull emerging from the mist, a seal resting on a sandbank bearing witness to a silent, fragile, and profoundly living nature.
