WILD FARM

WHAT IS THIS ?
Wild Farm is a photographic project that explores the discreet presence of wildlife within an agricultural landscape, specifically in the family goat farm located on the edge of a village in the Somme region. Through this work, Charlie seeks to reveal the beauty and fragility of often invisible animals that live and move in close proximity to human activities, in a balance as subtle as it is precarious. The project examines this silent coexistence between agriculture and wild nature, at the boundary of two worlds that are too often considered opposing.
Having been immersed in this familiar environment for several years, Charlie observes and photographs this unique territory where meadows, hedgerows, and secluded spots provide refuge for numerous species. Seeing a fox, an owl, or a falcon appear amidst the enclosures and farm tracks becomes a striking, emotionally charged experience. "Wild Farm" bears witness to these fleeting encounters and offers a sensitive perspective on a living world that persists, discreet yet profoundly present, at the heart of rural life.

This video offers a sincere look at fieldwork, between patience, wonder and unforeseen events, and allows the photographic project to be extended by plunging into the reality of this silent coexistence between agricultural life and wildlife.
