BETWEEN THE GRAVES - 2024
For several years, Charlie has been exploring the Madeleine Cemetery in Amiens, a place where silence, memory and nature come together. Behind its motionless appearance, this site steeped in history is home to a discreet but surprisingly rich fauna.
During his visits, Charlie discovered a space suspended between city and nature, where deer, jays and squirrels appear among the graves. His project aims to reveal this hidden life, often overlooked by visitors, and to show how living things continue to thrive in the very heart of a place dedicated to remembrance.
WILD FARM - 2022
This photographic project began in Charlie's mother's goat farm, on the edge of a village in the Somme region. It highlights the discreet wildlife that coexists with daily agricultural life, revealing the beauty of a wildness that is often invisible. For several years, Charlie has been exploring the Chèvrerie des Farfadets (Goat Farm of the Elves), a place on the border between human activity and nature, where the unexpected encounter with a fox, an owl, or a falcon testifies to the silent richness of this coexistence.
VALLEY OF HELL - 2021
Just a short walk from the houses, around Monsures, a discreet wildlife unfolds, shaped by silence and light. This familiar territory shelters a fascinating biodiversity, made up of elusive animals and delicate balances. From childhood, Charlie discovered his first natural refuge here, where every outing could offer the silhouette of a deer, the appearance of a fox, or the passage of a bird of prey. This photographic project invites us to enter the discreet world of nature close at hand.
PYRENEES - 2025
Charlie spent two weeks immersed in the Pyrenees, exploring their silent valleys and ever-changing landscapes. This mountain range, both majestic and demanding, offered him rare moments where nature reveals itself in all its subtlety. Through his lens, he captures the wildlife of this region. His work offers an intimate look at a specific biodiversity, revealing the beauty of life in this mountainous world.
COASTAL - 2025
For several years, Charlie has been exploring the French coastlines, fascinated by their ever-changing landscapes shaped by wind, sand, and light. Through his lens, he reveals the discreet life that unfolds there: plovers on the strandline, gulls in the mist, or seals resting on sandbanks, offering an intimate glimpse into a coastline that is ephemeral yet resolutely alive.
